Chris DeMarco, a Baltimore native, has lived in New York City since 1992.

Since 1984, Chris has studied the history of his mother’s family, Mulkey, and related family groups, tracing the direct Mulkey line to late 17th century Maryland and other lines to England and the Netherlands. He enjoys corresponding with others searching for their roots and is or has been a member of the Denison Society, the New York City Library (wonderful genealogy room), the Randolph Family website, and a national hereditary organization.

Chris was trained as a research psychologist, earning a Ph.D. in 1993. He currently works as an executive for a group of healthcare clinics serving the needy in the New York area. Chris DeMarco is also currently working on volume two of Colonial Families of York. County, Virginia.
