Bites (my favorite for crab cakes, don't go
on Tuesday, I think that's the day the real chef has off)
Jakes -
if you like Alaskan Crab legs, you can find them here. They have a big selection
and on days when you can't get anywhere near the Big Fish (most of the summer)
this is a good alternative.
The Kent
Narrows Restaurant - okay, okay, nowhere near rehoboth but actually the best
Cream of Crab Soup I have EVER tasted and several people I know only remotely
have backed me up on this. You can even get it to go in a quart container. Ask
for extra sherry if you order atthe restaurant.
Lazy Susan's
- for steamed crabs by the dozen. Yummmmm.... I haven't been since they moved
to a more upscale location accross the highway but I'm sure their crabs are
still the best around.
Fins -
great fish, mix and match - choose your fish, your cooking style and your sauce
from a long list. Usually crowded but they DO take resrvations

The
Pig and Fish - Rehoboth Avenue. Chip is the nicest bartender ever.
Dogfish Head - Ummm..
with names like Beewolf Braggot, Arctic Cloudberry Imperial
Wheat or Midas Touch, who can resist their crafty beers?
Sushi
The
Cultured Pearl - They take reservations too. Anyplace that takes reservations
in the summer automatically gets extra stars from me but this place is primo
all year round. They have outdoor rooftop tables with koi fish swimming under
your feet. The foot is somewhat pricey but good and they have a great selection
of hot and chilled sake!
Reasons
to move here
1) Property Taxes
2) Nearby beaches and
outlets will cause your children and grandchildre to visit more often. That
might not actually be a selling point.
3) Great seafood restaurants
(on the other hand there's not even one Indian Restaurant, you might get sick
of seafood eventually).
4) Cape Henlopen State
Park - great biking and hiking trails circle the park. Oh yeah, and it has pristine
beaches.
5) The boardwalk - best
junk food ever.
6) Funland - cheapest
way ever to entertain your friend's rugrats.

Pet Groomers - The Dirty
Dog in Rehoboth - all women - the only place I can take my neurotic dogs. They
don't seem to have a website!
Dog Kennels
- I have used these two and they are both very good as far as kennels go. I
mean no one came back with fleas or seemed too traumatized but how can you tell
really?
